Aurora
Viewing Tour
We operate the Aurora Viewing Tour with a boat cruise or van
transfer to one of our cozy cabins. We offer you
a 5 hour guided tour to take advantage of the best time to see the
Aurora. Your cabin is warm and a comfortable
bas for your Aurora Viewing. The transfer from guest's
accommodation, by ban and boat, to the cabin takes
approximately 30 minutes. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate,
juice, cookies and bannock are all part of the
experience.

All Night
Aurora Tour
We operate the All Night Aurora Tour with a boat cruise to our
cabin. Enjoy the entire night at our cozy cabin viewing
the night sky and amazing Aurora. Your cabin is warm and
comfortable base for your 12 hour aurora Viewing experience.
The transfer from guest's accommodation by van and boat to the cabin
takes approximately 30 minutes. A steak dinner in
the evening and an American breakfast in
the morning is all part of the package. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate,
juice, cookies
and bannock are all part of the
experience.

Sightseeing
Experience all that Yellowknife has to offer and get orientated with
this spectacular city.
You will visit our unique old town district, the downtown core, and a
trip to the famous dog sled kennels.

Dog Mushing
on Wheels
Beck's Kennels is famous for dog sled rides. Experience the
thrill of dog mushing before it snows. You will enjoy
20 minutes ride on All Terrain Vehicles pulled by husky mix racing
dogs. You will see the dogs being harnessed
and there will be an opportunity to take photos of these friendly dogs.

Northern
Outdoor Adventure Tour
Enjoy a scenic boat cruise, on a secluded lake, through this beautiful
northern landscape.
This is an interpretative tour providing information on trapper's
skills and lifestyle.

Cameron Falls Hiking
Hike this unique trail through pine forests and rocks scrapped clean by
glaciers. Enjoy a scenic viewpoint
over the falls, which drop 17 metres over series of rocky ledges.

Aboriginal
Fishing Demonstration
This tour will demonstrate how traditional aboriginal fishing is
done. We will take a boat trip on Great Slave
Lake where we have set fishing nets. The net is pulled up to
bring the fish up.
Then we prepare the fish for your lunch in our heated tent.

Bison
(Buffalo) Viewing
This wildlife viewing tours, takes you to see the Bison, the largest
terrestrial mammals in North America.
We drive west towards the aboriginal community of Behchoko. Along
the highway we make stops to view
and photograph these huge animals as the graze along the road
They were once an endangered species
but they are now flourishing in this area. Lunch at restaurant at
Behchoko included.

Barrenground Hiking Tour
There is no better way to view the arctic landscape than by air.
Enjoy this scenic flight north, past the tree-line to
the Tundra Barrenground. Your flight will land on a remote lake,
where you will enjoy a guided interpretive hike.

Winter
Clothing
Winter clothing is provided during optional tours, if required.
We recommend that for the City of Diamonds package you rent our
clothing sets for your entire stay.
The clothing consists of a parka, pants, insulated boots, mitts, and a
hat.
These items can be rented a rate of $40 for the first day and $15 per
each additional day.
Transportation
All our tours include transfers from and back to Yellowknife.
